CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA ORGANIZED INTER BANK T-20 CRICKET TOURNAMENT

As a part of Centenary Year Celebration, Central Bank of India organized Inter Bank T-20 Cricket Tournament for “CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA TROPHY”. Teams of 16 Banks participated in the Tournament. All the matches held at Oval Maidan.

The inaugural function was held at the hand of Shri Anil Kumar Khadke, General Manager, MMZO along with Shri K.K.Taneja, Dy.General Manager, MRO. The final Match was played between Bank of India and The Standard Chartered Bank. The Standard Chartered Bank won the prestigious Central Bank of India Trophy. The Prize distribution ceremony took place immediately after the final match in the Chairmanship of Shri Mohan V. Tanksale, Chairman & Managing Director. Shri G. B. Songaonkar, General Manager (P&D), Shri A. K. Khadke, General Manager, MMZO and Shri K.K.Taneja, Dy. General Manager, MRO were also present. Shri Tanksale welcomed and felicitated Prof Ratnakar Shetty, Chief Administrative Officer, BCCI who was the Chief Guest and Shri Vijay Patil, Vice-President, Mumbai Cricket Association who was Guest of Honour. Shri Dawood Patel, Secretary, Tournament Committee, MCA and Shri Arvind Kadam, Secretary, Board of Umpires, MCA were also present on the occasion. During the function, Shri Tanksale also felicitated the well known Cricket Commentator Shri Suresh Saraiya and Veteran Cricketers of the Bank. The Tournament received overwhelming response from all the participating Banks and it was a grand success.
