Dear Friends,

MR. A.R. SAIFULLAH, GENERAL SECRETARY, A.I.C.B.O.F. VISITS HYDERABAD – GENERAL MEETING ON 26TH NOVEMBER 2011

You are aware that Mr. A.R. Saifullah, President, All India Central Bank Officers’ Federation has been elected as General Secretary unanimously in our General Body Conference held on 15th and 16th October at Ahmedabad. As Mr. Saifullah has always been an encouraging force for our unit, his election as General Secretary of the Federation has made all of us jubilant.

We are glad to inform you that Mr. Saifullah will be visiting Hyderabad on 26th November 2011, for the first time after becoming the General Secretary of our Federation. On our request, he has agreed to take part in our Managing Committee meeting proposed to be held at 11.00 a.m. at Hyderabad on Saturday. Since Mr. Saifullah will be visiting Hyderabad as General Secretary of our Federation for the first time, it has also been decided to felicitate him on this occasion in a befitting manner.

We would like to inform you that Mr. Saifullah has discussed various issues with Central Office management during the last one month including Promotional placements, Transfer Policy, Promotion Policy etc. Due to his timely intervention, the management has revised the placements of the officers who have been promoted from Scale-II to III. It may be noticed that out of four changes made in our unit area, three changes have been made in favor of our members.

It has also been agreed by Central Office to conduct Joint Discussions with our Federation during December 2011 wherein various issues including the policy matters will be taken up for discussion. Management has also invited our Federation to have exclusive discussions on Transfer and Promotion Policies.

As Mr. Saifullah will be visiting Hyderabad in the backdrop of above developments and for the first time as General Secretary of our Federation, a general meeting for the Officers has been arranged to enable the officers to have first hand information on the developments and also to get ourselves enlightened with the latest developments in the Bank as well as the Industry.

Accordingly, the meeting has been arranged at 05.00 p.m. on Saturday at Hotel Sankalp Grand, Besides Zonal Office, Hyderabad, which will be followed by a dinner.

We request all of you to make it convenient to attend the meeting as well as the felicitation programme in large numbers and make it a grand success.
