In a glittering Award function held by the ‘STAR NEWS’ under the auspicious of WORLD HRD CONGRESS, Mr. M V Tanksale, Chairman & Managing Director, Central Bank of India received the prestigious HR leadership Award – ‘CEO WITH HR-ORIENTATION’ in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Human Resources Development, Leadership and Capability Building within the organization 16th February 2012.
While conferring the Award, Mr. R L Bhatia, Project Director, World HRD Congress said that Mr. Tanksale contributed immensely to the ‘People Management’ and provided an effective Leadership to steer the HR Porftfolio with required precision and professionalism. In accepting the Award, Mr. Tanksale said that on the very day of his taken over the reins of the Bank, he declared that ‘Employee is his first customer’ and this committed resolve has been the driving force for all his initiatives on HR front. He dedicated this Award to the entire workforce of Central Bank of India and also to his mentors & Role Models whose inspiration drove him to the position which he is holding today.
Alongside, Central Bank of India has also won two more Awards under ‘Organization Category’ – ‘SHINE.COM HR LEADERSHIP AWARD FOR LEADING HR PRACTICES IN QUALITY WORK-LIFE, PHYSICAL & MENTAL WELL-BEING’ in recognition of the Bank’s Best Practices towards the welfare and wellbeing of its employees and ‘STAR NEWS HR & LEADERSHIP AWARD FOR HR EXCELLENCE FOR INNOVATIVE HR PRACTICES’ in recognition of the Bank’s initiative in evolving and rolling out excellent and innovative HR practices across the Organisation. These Awards have been received by Mr. Vijai Misra, General Manager (HRD) of the Bank alongwith Mr. A K Midha, Dy. General Manager (HRD) & Mr. G S Bhaskara Rao, Asst. General Manager (HRD-IRP) of the Bank amidst a large gathering of HR Professionals of eminence cutting accorss various business lines – both Public & Private. These Awards reflect the commitment, contribution and resolve of the Bank towards ‘People Management’ with special focus on employee-development, capability building and employee-wellbeing which are the key to organizational success.
