CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA HAS BEEN ON THE PATH OF ‘HUMAN CAPITAL RESURGENCE’


Central Bank of India has been on the path of ‘Human Capital Resurgence’ and accordingly, during its the Centennial year, the Bank has recruited 1269 Pos/MTS/MBA etc. and first-ever intake of 3359 clerical hands in the month of September 2011, Further the Bank is in the process of recruiting around 2000 Probationary Officers to meet the manpower requirements in Operational Banking. In Technical cadre, around 1000 Specialist Officers are planned to be hired in next 6 months. Further, manpower plan of 2012-2013 is also likely to be finalized soon.

During the Centenary year, as a part of its endeavour to impart continual learning to employees, Bank’s focus will be on introducing e-learning modules on the important business areas of competitive advantage. All the formalities for introducing this initiative are underway. During July 2011, Central Bank of India has launched ‘Cent Samadhan’ a web-portal to solve employee’s personal grievances, which is receiving overwhelming response.

Chairman & Managing Director and Executive Directors of the Bank are holding town hall meeting at various centres to communicate directly with large number of staff members.
