Today Shri M.V.Tanksale, Chairman & Managing Director of Central Bank of India launched “Go Green” Campaign for customers in a well attended function. Smt. V.R. Iyer, & Shri R.K. Dubey, Executive Directors were also present on the occasion.
This campaign is launched under Bank’s ‘corporate social responsibility’ objective with a purpose to promote Green banking which is paper less and queue less banking and also promotes use of recyclable products for Bank’s stationery using TYVEK material.
During the campaign, which will run for three months, the customers will be motivated to:
- Opt for e-statements
- Use internet banking (24 x 7) for banking transactions
- Use e-voucher machine for transactions.
The customers and staff members will be incentivized / rewarded for use of Green Banking. Bank is also conducting competition to promote Green Initiative of Government of India.
