SBI PLANS 150000 PoS TERMINALS IN 2010-11

In a bid to expand its fee-based income, SBI is planning to place about 150000 Point of Sale (PoS) terminals for debit and credit card payments across the country in the next financial year. It plans to deploy 600000 PoS terminals in the first five years of its operations.
