Despite the US economy showing signs of revival, four banks have failed in the new year 2010. The banks that have failed are Barnes Banking Company, St. Stephen State Bank, Town Community Bank & Trust and Horizon Bank. Out of which, the first three banks failed on January 15.
As per the official data of US, 159 banks bite the dust since the investment banking major Lehman Brothers went bankrupt in September 2008.
