Many global financial services firms opined that RBI may tighten money supply with the robust industrial production growth of 11.7% in November and the rising inflationary pressures.
Dun and Bradstreet expects a 50 basis point hike in the CRR when RBI comes out with its third quarter monetary policy on January 29 whereas Goldman Sachs expects the RBI to hike key rates by 25 basis points.
