PUBLIC SECTOR BANKS' EDUCATION LOANS RISE 15% IN FIRST HALF

According to the IBA, education loan disbursals by the PSBs have increased by Rs.4200 crore in the first half of the financial year, an increase of 15%. It is said that more than 95000 accounts have been opened during this period.


The total education loans disbursed by the PSBs have reached around Rs.32000 crore with 1698601 benefactors.
