WE AIM AT RS.10 LAC CRORE BUSINESS BY 2013: K.R. KAMATH

Mr. K.R. Kamath, Chairman and Managing Director of Punjab National Bank, who is also the youngest among all PSB CMDs, has told to E.T. that the bank had a comprehensive road map in Vision 2013 document and aiming for a total business of Rs.10 lakh crore by 2013. The bank also aims to increase its customer base to 150 million during the same period along with increasing its global presence. He has also felt that consolidation among Public Sector Banks has to take place and his bank will evaluate if the market throws an opportunity.
