RBI ASKS BANKS TO DISCLOSE BANCASSURANCE FEES

RBI said that banks need to disclose the remuneration or fees earned from bancassurance business in the notes segment in their balance sheets. This is one of the steps taken by the RBI to increase transparency in financial statements of banks.
