As per new item appearing in Economic Times, Mr. M.V. Nair, Chairman and Managing Director, Union Bank of India is likely to be the CMD of IDBI Bank after its present CMD Mr. Yogesh Agarwal moves out to the Pension Fund Regulatory Authority. It is to be noted here that the head of IDBI Bank is considered equivalent to a Secretary level in the Central Govt. while the heads of other PSU Bank are equivalent to Joint Secretaries.
