According to Ms. Chanda Kochhar, Managing Director and CEO of ICICI Bank, the loan growth of the bank could go up to around 15% on the back of a strong revival in demand in key segments. With the global financial crisis resulting in a slowdown in the domestic market, a majority of the banks, including ICICI Bank, had witnessed their credit growth shrinking over the last one year.
Ms. Kochar also ruled out any immediate plans to hike its deposit rates.
