SBI SAYS NPAs TO GROW FOR SOME MORE TIME

According to Mr. O.P. Bhatt, Chairman, State Bank of India, NPAs will continue to grow for some more time, reflecting that all sectors of the economy have not recovered fully. However, the bank expects its bad debts to come down to 2.85-2.95 per cent of total loans by the end of this fiscal from 3.11 per cent as on December 31.
