Bank of Maharashtra's profits for the second quarter dipped 40 per cent to Rs 52.30 crore as against Rs 87 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The bank's other income dropped to Rs 117 crore compared with Rs 149 crore in the same period last fiscal. The bank's net interest income rose 63 per cent to Rs 461 crore. Net non-performing assets were higher at 2.18 per cent compared with 1.61 per cent in the last fiscal.
