Indian banks raised 20.45 billion rupees through certificates of deposit (CDs).
Yield on the three-month Reuters CD benchmark was fixed at 7.90 percent and secondary market volumes fell to 250 million rupees from 7.35 billion rupees.
Allahabad Bank raised 5 billion rupees through three month notes at 7.95 percent. IDBI Bank raised 450 million rupees through 1 year notes at 8.52 percent.Central Bank of India raised 15 billion rupees through 3 month notes at 7.95 percent.
