RBI EXTENDS INTEREST SUBSIDY SCHEME ON EXPORT CREDIT

RBI extended the interest subsidy scheme of two percentage points on rupee export credit to additional sectors like leather and leather manufacturers, jute manufacturing, engineering goods and textiles.

The subvention scheme will be available from April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2011, the RBI said in a notification.
