AIBOC issued its circular No. 121 on successful completion of AI-Power Programme for senior leaders of the confederation. We are reproducing the same here for our readers.

94TH PROGRAMME OF NATURE - SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF AI-POWER PROGRAMME FOR SENIOR LEADERS OF THE CONFEDERATION

We are happy to inform our members that the first programme meant for the senior leaders of the affiliates as per the decision of the Vagamon Conclave was successfully conducted by NATURE during 9th to 11th August 2010.  The programme was inaugurated on 9th August by Com.G.Makhwana, SBIOA, Ahmedabad Circle as per the new tradition introduced by NATURE in the recent past where one of the participants will be taking the responsibility of lighting the lamp and declaring the commencement of the programme. The programme was scheduled for 3 days and the senior level office-bearers drawn from the various affiliates of the Confederation participated in the programme.

The programme was specially designed to meet the aspirations and decisions of the Vagamon declaration, where the top leadership of the Confederation was of the view that, the Vagamon experience should percolate down the line so that the structure of the Confederation gets further strengthened and clear message to the leadership at the lower level and through them to the membership at the grass root level will percolate about the various issues that were discussed at the Vagamon conclave, in order to ensure the extension of the benefit of the deliberations of the top leadership of the organisation.

The programme provided full opportunity to the participants to interact with the top leaders of the Confederation and also the senior stalwarts as well as amongst themselves and arrive at a series of decisions which will help them in the consolidation of the movement at the gross root level. The valedictory function was held on 11th August 2010.  The trainees had a good and ample opportunity to participate in the group discussions and make their presentations.  They also had an opportunity of interacting with the senior leaders of the Confederation.  They are Com. T.N.Goel, Com. Harvinder Singh, Com.K.K.Dogra, Com.K.D.Khera, Com.Chandrasekaran, Com.Anantha Krishna Rao.

The faculty consisted of Com.P.K.Sarkar, the President of AIBOC, Com.G.D.Nadaf, the General Secretary, Com.Harvinder Singh – Vice President, Com.Shantha Raju, former General Secretary of AIBOC, Com.B.S.Ravindra, Asst.General Secretary and State Secretary (Karnataka) AIBOC. The programme was organised by Com.K.Nagaraja Shastry, Com.K.F.Mamadapur and Com.Y.Sudarshan, Secretaries of AISBOF.

Comrades, we will have the second programme to cover the other participants from 16th to 18th of August 2010 and are confident that the same will be equally successful.  We are also planning to hold some more programmes to cover the remaining senior leaders of the affiliates in due course.
