ANDHRA BANK IN ‘AADHAAR' PROJECT

Andhra Bank will take up enrolment of people for the Unique Identification Authority of India's ‘Aadhaar' project. It entered into a memorandum of understanding with UDAI recently to function as a registrar for the project. The bank would set up a core team to oversee the implementation of the UID project in the identified districts along with constituents, accountholders, technology providers and others.
