NATURE CELEBRATES CENTENARY PROGRAMME ON 12TH AND 13TH DECEMBER 2010 - NATIONAL WORKSHOP ON DISCIPLINE AND VIGILANCE ADMINISTRATION IN PUBLIC SECTOR BANKS - PREPARATIONS IN FULL SWING
Yet another epoch making event to take place in the history of NATURE at Bangalore on 12th and 13th of December 2010 through National Workshop on Discipline and Vigilance Administration in Public Sector Banks as a part of our celebrations of Centenary Programme of this great institution. The N.A.T.U.R.E is a wing of All India State Bank Officers’ Federation, which ensured imparting of trade union related knowledge to thousands and thousands of militant comrades across the country, with a major thrust on the training of Defense Representatives in the area of Disciplinary and Vigilance Proceedings as also the Leadership Development Programmes to take care of the growing strength of the unions in the managerial cadre in Banking as well as other sectors of the economy. It is a great satisfaction to the leadership of the Federation that, the NATURE in this task of building leaders of committed and dedicated band of officers’ fraternity all over the country through its various programmes is now at the door steps of another milestone that is its Centenary Programme. The Executive Committee members of the Federation as well as the committed band of faculty while acknowledging the fact of celebration of the 100th programme was of the view that, it should be a distinctly different one than the earlier programmes, and there has to be a greater public participation and involvement in the programme to focus the great contribution made by the NATURE as a strong and vibrant wing of the All India State Bank Officers’ Federation. Accordingly, the Executive Committee directed that, the event should be memorable one and should have the participation of the eminent personalities in the field of Banking as well as the Discipline and Vigilance Administration in Public.
After a careful consideration of the decision of the Executive Committee of the Federation a detailed programme was worked out. That is how we have now designed two days “National Workshop on Discipline and Vigilance Administration in Public Sector Banks”
The Programme will be inaugurated by Shri.R.Sri Kumar, the Vigilance Commissioner, Central Vigilance Commission, New Delhi . Smt.Arundathi Bhattacharya, DMD and CDO (Designate) will be the Guest of Honour.
The Chief Guest for Valediction of the Programme will be Justice N.Santosh Hegde, Lokayuktha, Karnataka. Shri.O.P.Bhatt, the Chairman, State Bank of India , Shri. N.Raja, DMD and CDO and Shri.R.N.Godbole, the Former General Secretary of AISBOF & AIBOC will be the Guests of Honour.
The two days programme is so designed that it should provide a unique opportunity to all our leaders both in the Confederation as also the Federation to have a thorough debate and discussions on various subjects connected with the current banking environment. We enclose a copy of the entire programme for the information of our affiliates and members all over the country.
Comrades, we have already sent invitation to all our affiliates as well as the affiliates of the Confederation to sponsor the names of the participants in this centenary programme and make this event a memorable one in the history of NATURE.
