We reproduce hereunder the text of AISBOF Circular No.121 dated 14th December 2010, contents of which are self-explicit.

TEXT

It was an act of gratitude on the part of “All India State Bank Officers’ Federation” to recognise all those stalwarts who were part of the success story of NATURE in reaching an important milestone of the 100th Programme. All the members of the faculty, both past and present, during the last 2 decades were invited with a view to express appreciation for the great contribution they have made in building the wonderful institute ‘NATURE’, through their contributions in handling various sessions during the last 100 programmes. It was a great day for the members of the Federation and Confederation that they had an opportunity of witnessing on the dais, the galaxy of the leadership of yesteryears and honour them in recognition of their valuable guidance and support in nourishing the NATURE since 1991 and bringing it this far.

The NATURE has come a long way. It has seen ups and downs of the trade union movement over the last 2 decades due to the changing environment and the policies of the Government. The academic work in the area of ‘Leadership Development’ as well as training of the defense counsels across the country is an unparalleled effort of NATURE. It is not just an institution of the Federation but a public institution ready to take up any responsibility in ensuring the success of the trade union movement and also to take on the forces, which are inimical to the interests of the working class in this country. The journey of 2 decades is full of activities that not only covers the area of training but also a series of publications, the production of a documentary film on the domestic enquiry etc., It could not have been possible, but for the excellent faculty support rendered by the former and the present leaders of the Federation and Confederation. “Expressing gratitude in a small way by calling all those faculty who had in one way or the other, been the part of this great journey and had rendered their valuable services to the success of the activities of NATURE, was appreciated by all. By honouring them, we are honouring ourselves and paying our respects to their contribution to the movement,” declared Com.G.D.Nadaf, the General Secretary of the Federation and also the Course Director of this wonderful institution ‘NATURE’, amidst thunderous applause. Along with him, the course Co-ordinator and President of SBIOA(K) Com.B.S.Ravindra, Com.G.Muthuswamy, General Secretary, SBIOA(K) and the other members of the faculty viz., Com.Y.Sudarshan and Com.S.P.R.Vittal, Dy.General Secretaries of SBIOA(K), Com.D.Shyam Sundar Rao, Regional Secretary, SBIOA(K) Bangalore Zonal Office, Com.K.Nagaraja Shastry and Com.K.F.Mamdapur, Secretaries of Federation and other leaders from the Federation were present for felicitating the members of the faculty. The faculties were honoured, offering a flower bouquet, shawl, fruit bowl, a citation on their valuable contributions, a silver coin commemorating the 100th Programme of NATURE, by Com.T.N.Goel, President, Com.G.D.Nadaf, General Secretary, Com.Ganesh Mishra, Com.S.K.Haldar, Com.G.Muthuswamy, Senior Vice Presidents of AISBOF.
