130th Birth Anniversary of Sir Sorabji Pochkhanawala, founder of Central Bank of India was celebrated in the Mumbai Main Office of the Bank. The programme was inaugurated at the hands of Shri Mohan Vasant Tanksale, Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank by garlanding the statue of Sir Sorabji Pochkhanawala. In his address Chairman & Managing director acknowledged the contribution of Sir Pochkhanawala in establishing 1st Swadeshi Bank at the age of 30 yrs.
On this auspicious day inauguration of Free Health Check Up Camp was also held at the hands of Mrs.Nandini M Tanksale. Health Check Up Camp was jointly organized with Chola MS to offer wide range of health insurance products through Central Bank of India, Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Co. Ms.Chitra- GM, Mr.Vikas Mediratta – ZM, Mr.Rahul Negandhi- AGM & Dr.Vijay Jathar, General Manager of Mumbai Zone Shri A K Khadke alongwith other executives of the Bank graced the occasion. Oath for the growth of the Bank and dedicated customer service was taken by the Centralites during the occasion.
