ALLAHABAD BANK OFFERS INTEREST RATE DISCOUNT FROM AUGUST 16


Allahabad Bank said it will offer an interest rate rebate up to 150 basis points on retail loans from August 16 to mark the ensuing festive season.

It will offer discount up to 150 bps on car loans and personal loans to doctors and pensioners while up to 100 bps on housing loans

It will also slash processing fee by 50% and documentation charges.

The scheme will remain valid upto December 31, 2011.

"This special offer will encourage customers mainly from middle and lower income groups to avail credit at reduced interest rates during the ensuing festive season," the bank said in a statement.
