TALENT INDUCTION AND CAREER ADVANCEMENT    (SERIAL-II)

In order to increase the man power in tune with the balance sheet CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate), our administration is continuing the recruitment of the specialist as well as probationary officers in the name of “TALENT INDUCTION”.  But, due to various reasons, the recruitment of POs into our system is getting delayed for which we all would be the sufferers.
  • Around 55 scale II MBAs were recruited on 18/06/2012 and posted to various ROs.  To retain the talent, convenient placement were given to them.
  • On 23/07/2012, 45 AM-ITs were recruited and posted to various RCCs.
  • RBOs of 18 in Scale I were recruited on 23/07/2012 and posted to various ROs.

We welcome all the new talents and wish them for the bright future.

As a part of succession planning and to enhance the general morale and career path of the home grown talent, our Administration conducted promotion process in all Scales.

  • The promotion process for Sc-IV to V took place and 44 CMs are promoted as AGMs and another 7 CMs are empanelled.  We congratulate and wish them All the Best in their new assignment.
  • Promotions to Sc-IV held and as many as 215 are promoted and another 14 are empanelled as CMs.
  • Promotion process for Sc-III released and as many as 349 are promoted from all the Channels against the declared vacancies of 915. Had the administration acceded the request of our Federation with regard to the relaxation in eligibility norms for Sc II to III, more number of young and energetic officers would get an opportunity to participate in the promotion process and equal number of officers would have been promoted to Sc-III.
  • Asst. Managers of 1490 are promoted as MM-II Managers against the identified vacancies of 3038.

We congratulate and wish all the promotees all success in their new assignment.

Placements to the promoted officers are to be released by the Administration.  In spite of good number of recruitment in the name of War for Talent as well as huge promotions that are taking place in all scales, the branches particularly in R/SU/U would continue to suffer without adequate Officers.  Nearly, 51% of Managers and 62% of Senior Managers vacancies of the identified/declared would continue to be unfilled.  All vacancies from Sc-IV to Top level are already filled up but in the lower level who are directly involved in key delivery channels are deprived of adequate Staff strength.

“CAN OUR ADMINSTRATION SPREAD THE SMILES BY PROVIDING ADEQUATE OFFICERS TO ALL BRANCHES AT LEAST AS PER THE STAFFING PATTERN UNILATERALLY ADOPTED”.

Thanking you

Yours Sincerely,
