CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA REVISES INTEREST RATES ON FCNR-B DEPOSITS W.E.F. 01.06.2012


Central Bank of India has revised interest rates on FCNR-B deposits. The bank now offers interest of 2.63 % for USD deposit of 2 years to less than 3 years, 3.71 % for USD deposit of 3 years to less than 4 years, 4.42 % for GBP deposit of 5 years, 4.21 % for EURO deposit of 5 years, 4.58 % for Canadian dollar deposit of 5 years & 6.60 % for Australian  Dollar deposit of 1 year to less than 2 years.

On NRE deposits for single deposit upto Rs. 1 crore,  the bank offers 9% (tax free) interest for a period of 1 year to less than two years &  for single deposit of Rs. 1 crore to Rs. 10 crores for a period 2 years to less than 5 years .

All branches of the bank accept the deposits.
