“CAREER ADVANCEMENT/TALENT ACQUISITION IN OUR BANK
Advancement in career and contributing to the development of the organization is the dream of every employee and very often the lack of this is what results in demoralization. Presently in our Bank, more number of promotions are taking place motivating the entire workforce. Some of our Friends are not in favour of employee recognition-motivation-promotion.
The promotion process for Scale VI to VII were released on 11th June 2012, wherein Sri. Mohd. Javed, Sri. Raj Kiran Rai, Sri. P.S. Srinivasan, Sri. K. Eshwar, Sri. M.P. Haridas, Sri. M. Elangovan, Sri. R.B. Gupta, Sri. D. Bapanna, Sri. R.K. Arora & Sri. B. Mishra have been promoted as General Managers in Scale VIII. We congratulate them and convey our Best Wishes on their elevation.
The promotion process for Scale V to VI also took place and as many as 35 AGMs were promoted as DGMs in Scale VI. We congratulate and wish them all the Best in their new assignment.
Promotion to MMG scale II as Manager IT specialist was held recently and 143 were promoted and placement mostly to the nearby Regions was given except few.
Around 44 CAs were recently recruited under specialist category. We understand most of them have stipulated their choice of posting and our Management conceded most of their choice.
Out of 400 AFOs recently recruited, around 340 only reported for training and Regional allotments were also released. We understand that nearly25% of the AFOs have been qualified for recruitment from 1- 2 States, whereas the vacancies are spread over all the States. The language issue is assuming a serious dimension, on deployment in different language zones particularly in Rural & Semi-urban branches. Only time will tell how to solve the retention of talent as most of the AFOs recruited were posted to far-off places. This deployment in remote branches in different language zones will surely escalate the attrition.
Please await further communication on the promotions in the lower scales.
WE WISH ALL THE NEW TALENTS FOR THE BRIGHT FUTURE”
Kind Regards
Yours Sincerely,
Sd/-
