CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA HAS SLASHED INTEREST RATE ON LOAN TO DOCTORS AND ALSO WAIVED OFF PROCESSING FEE ON SELECTED RETAIL PRODUCTS

As per the press release of the Bank, Central Bank of India has slashed interest rate on Loans to Doctors by 150 basis points for purchase of equipments and 100 basis points for construction of Nursing Home/ Clinic/ Clinic cum Residence (from 12% to 10.5 % for purchase of equipments etc. and from 13 % to 11% construction of Nursing Home/ Clinic/ Clinic cum Residence).

Interest rate on Special Housing Loans at 8 % p.a. onwards and Normal Housing Loans at 8.75 % p.a. onwards is the existing rate of interest. However, the processing fee has been waived off till 31st March 2010.

Central Bank of India has also waived off the processing fees for their Direct Housing Finance Scheme, Cent Vehicle (2-Wheeler & 4-Wheeler), Personal Loan to Corporate and Non-corporate employees, Cent Safar, Cent Jewel, Teachers Loan, Cent Vyapari, Cent Swabhiman plus. This offer is valid till 31st March 2010.
