Central Bank of India has been undertaking many a social cause as a part of its corporate social responsibility. The Bank’s Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. S. Sridhar, called on Dr. Badrinath, Founder & Chairman Emeritus of the Sankara Nethralaya, a renowned and trusted name in the country for eye care, and handed over a cheque for Rs. 5 lakhs towards Central Bank of India Corpus Fund. The fund would help provide free cataract operations to the poor and the needy every year.
