YES Bank hiked interest rates on fixed deposits of various maturities by 25 basis points with immediate effect. The bank has hiked the rate on deposit of 13 months to 7.5 per cent from 7.25 per cent.
UCO Bank's new scheme
UCO Bank has launched a fixed deposit scheme of 999 days and offering interest of 7.5 per cent a year. The minimum amount of deposit under the scheme would be Rs 5,000 and thereafter in multiples of Rs 1,000, with a maximum amount of Rs 1 crore. This scheme is open up to November.
Andhra Bank
Andhra Bank has increased interest rates on domestic term deposits. The interest was increased from 7 per cent to 7.5 per cent on deposits for one year to less than two years while for those deposits with a maturity bracket of five years and above, it was hiked from 6.25 per cent to 7.50 per cent to 8 per cent p.a.
