SBI TO ISSUE EQUITY TO STATE BANK OF INDORE SHAREHOLDERS

State Bank of India will issue a total of 1,14,606 of its shares to shareholders of State Bank of Indore.

The latter's shareholders will receive, on August 26, 34 State Bank of India shares for every 100 State Bank of Indore shares held.

The Cabinet last month approved the merger of the banks.
