The monsoon session of Parliament will begin on July26.The time to Act is before us.
As per the available reports, Bankers issue with regard to enhanced limit of 10lakhs in Gratuity to other sectors as given to Govt Sector for retirees between 01.01.2006 to 24.05.2010 do not figure in the Agenda of Monsoon Session of Parliament. Retirees are eagerly waiting for positive news as we have no forum except AIBOC to take up the issue during the 30 days Parliamentary session.
As regards gratuity it should be implemented or should be given to all concerned w.e.f.01-01-2006 why there should be differences dates one for central govt emp from 01-01-2006 though their wages are from next date implemented then why not for bankers and others.same rule should apply why our labour minister is so adamant not to give effect from 01-01-2006.I request our ufbu leaders to take this issue on front basis and fight for it may be strike call ect.Pl give justice to them.
