ALLAHABAD BANK BUSINESS TOUCHES RS 1.79 LAKH CRORE

According to Mr. J.P. Dua, Chairman and Managing Director, Allahabad Bank has touched Rs 1,79,000 crore of total business during the 2009- 10 fiscal, exceeding the target of Rs 1,75,000 crore. Deposits of the bank stood at Rs 1,06,000 crore, while advances stood at Rs 73,000 crore for the period.  

Bank had implemented CBS in 969 branches out of a total of 2,287 planned to implement CBS fully at all its branches by the end of calendar year 2010.
