COM.D.N.THAKUR NOMINATED AS OFFICER – DIRECTOR ON THE BOARD OF UCO BANK

We have pleasure in advising that Com.D.N.Thakur, Jt.General Secretary of All India UCO Bank Officers’ Federation, our affiliate and Senior Manager of UCO Bank has been nominated as Officer-Director on the Board of UCO Bank for a period of three years from 13th December, 2012; the date of notification. The text of relative notification is furnished overleaf.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause(f) of sub-section(3) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition & Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980 read with sub-clause (1) & (2) of clause 9 of the Nationalised Banks (Management & Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980, the Central Government after consultation with the Reserve Bank of India, hereby appoints Shri. D.N.Thakur (DOB: 01.03.1958), Senior Manager, UCO Bank, as Officer Employee Director on the Board of Directors of UCO Bank for a period of three years from the date of notification of his appointment or until he ceases to be an officer of the UCO Bank or till further orders, whichever is the earliest.
