CHANDRASEKHARAN ASSUMES CHARGE AS UCO BANK ED

Mr R. Chandrasekharan has assumed charge as Executive Director of UCO Bank here on Saturday.

Mr Chandrasekharan has about 35 years of experience in the banking industry. He joined IOB as a probationary officer on October 11, 1976, and worked as manager in rural and semi-urban branches besides large corporate branches in Delhi.

Before joining UCO Bank, he was General Manager at IOB for the Delhi region. Mr Chandrasekharan had also worked at IOB's main branch in Hong Kong where he was actively involved in international business and foreign trade. Thereafter, he had moved to Singapore branch of IOB as head of credit and international banking.
