Shri C R Sundaramurti, Controller General of Accounts, Ministry of Finance, Government of India has this day inaugurated this facility at Bank’s Connaught Circus Branch in presence of Bank’s constituents, Government Officials & staff. Speaking on the occasion Shri Sundaramurti, told that Banks have to endeavor to craft and provide IT enabled services to make the Banking transactions hassle free for all. He congratulated the management of Central Bank of India for quickly responding to the Government calls and introducing various facilities for the benefit of the general public. Shri M V Tanksale, Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank gave a brief of the activities of the Bank and assured the Government authorities and public that Bank is ready to respond the call of the public and government to provide all the required facilities with its state of the art IT enabled banking products. The Bank has the tradition of pioneering various useful banking products and will continue this tradition in the days to come.
Mrs V R Iyer, Executive Director of the Bank gave vote of thanks and shared that the Bank has grown to this position owing to the unstinted support and patronage of its constituents, general public. She conveyed her thanks to senior government officials, customers, general public and press for their continued support to the Bank. She explained that with over 3800 Branch network the Bank is serving the nation through its length and breadth and closely associated with various initiatives of the Government of India. She further informed that Bank is aggressively moving for increasing ATM network through out the length and breadth of the country and in the Centenary Year Bank propose to enhance the network.
On this occasion Mrs V R Iyer & Shri R K Dubey, Executive Directors, representatives of the Bank from its Head Office and other dignitaries were also present.
