Bank of India has signed an agreement with the Unique Identification Authority of India to act as registrar, said a press release from the bank. As a registrar, the bank would help the UIDAI in enrolling residents in the UID system. The bank will also tap the data base of its 3.5 crore customers and enrol them in the UIDAI.
