UNITED BANK OF INDIA TO DECIDE ON RATE HIKE

According to Mr. Bhaskar Sen, Chairman and Managing Director, United Bank of India (UBI) has not yet decided to raise interest rates after the Reserve Bank of India hiked the repo rate and reverse repo rate, a top bank official said.

 The RBI raised the repo rate, by 25 basis points to 6 percent and the reverse repo rate by 50 basis points to 5 percent.
