3rd Annual General Meeting of Central Bank of India was held on 14-07-2010 at Sir Sorabji Pochkhanawala Bankers’ Training College, Vile Parle, Mumbai. Chairman and Managing Director, Shri S. Sridhar has declared the dividend at Rs. 1.20 per share(12%) as recommended by the Board of the Bank at its meeting held on 22nd May 2010.
Shri S. Sridhar, CMD, has narrated in detail the various initiatives taken by the Bank during the financial year 2009-10. Bank has registered the highest ever net profit of Rs. 1058 crores. CASA deposits recorded YoY growth of 27.5 % and there was an addition of about Rs. 51,000/- crores in the Business during the year. Growth in deposits and advances on YoY basis were 23.5 % each. He has informed about the major achievements which have resulted in the best ever business performance in the Bank’s history. He thanked stakeholders for their continued and unstinted support in the Bank’s endeavour.
