Corporation Bank has increased its base rate by 35 basis points with effect from July 1. According to a press release, the bank has increased the base rate for lending from 9.90 to 10.25 per cent with effect from July 1.
Indian Overseas Bank has also raised its base rate by 25 basis points, from 10 to 10.25 per cent and the prime lending rate from 14.25 to 14.50 per cent with effect from Friday, a bank statement said.
